I am still amazed that people think Sogo Bujutsu / Budo is some kind of new style of martial art.

Sogo Bujutsu / Budo is the original parent or seed martial strategy from which most known martial arts were spawned from. The martial arts that most people hear about are actually the siblings / offspring to Sogo Bujutsu / Budo. Even Jujutsu with its long history is a descendant of Sogo Bujutsu.

Another misconception is that Sogo Bujutsu / Budo is a style of martial art. Sogo Bujutsu / Budo is a martial Heiho / Hyoho - strategy that is was applied to martial training by feudal Warriors.

I do predict that soon, Sogo Budo / Bujutsu will be the new catch phrase in the martial arts. It will be interesting to see everyone scramble to adjust and catch up.
